Narrator walks on stage with pages in hand; stands.

Narrator asks audience to participate by reading aloud the words on the signs she displays during the performance.

(Holds up first sign; it says "WALNUT")

I like to eat —

(Second sign: "PLANTS")

The plates on my back

And the spines on my tail

Protect me

Protect me from —

(Third sign: "PREDATORS")

My name is —

(Fourth sign: "STEGOSAURUS") flashes this sign a few times to the sing-song beat, STEGOSAURUS, STEGOSAURUS, STEGOSAURUS

(Waves hand to quiet audience)

I lived a long time ago.

Now I’m —

(Fifth sign: "GONE")
