Rocky and Bullwinkle

by Todd Ristau

I have no idea when this was done, but I did it was probably in 88-89*.

I did it with Fred. We both got kind of drunk and I dressed him up like Rocket J. Squirrel with a great big cardboard tail, and I was dressed like Bullwinkle with a british cavalry helmet that had two enormous cardboard antlers attached to it.

When the lights came up the dialogue went:

BULLWINKLE: Hey, Rocky, wanna watch me pull some art out of my ass?

ROCKY: Aww, that trick never works.

(lights out)

I thought it was a hilarious protest against crummy last minute pieces, but pretty hypocritical because it was itself kind of a last minute piece. Also, the beers I had before the piece may have hurt my diction, because Scott Smith came up afterwards and said, "Why would Rocky want to watch Bullwinkle pull lard out of his ass?"

You can't win them all. :)
