No Shame Theatre Song

(Lincoln, Titanic & Jesus version)

music by Jonathan Price

lyrics by Jeff Goode & Richard Nathan

from an idea by Mike Rothschild

Today is April 14th. And it's Friday. And it's Good!
And if you don't know why that is -- I think perhaps you should

For it's the anniversary of someone great who died.
Why one might almost say that he was (figuratively) crucified

No Shame Theatre
Abraham Lincoln's dead!
No Shame Theatre
Shot right in the head.

Today's the anniversary of a great tragedy
When many people lost their lives when they all died at sea.

Today the ship Titanic hit an iceberg and went down
Kate Winslet lived and got real old, and Leo went and drowned.

No Shame Theatre
No iceberg's 'round here.
No Shame Theatre
Our ice is for the beer

And last, but hardly least, today's when Jesus hit the Cross
And came back 3 days later, and became the Catholic Boss

I don't know why we count that one - I mean, 3 fucking days?!
Some people die forever. And they just stay that way.

No Shame Theatre
The Day those People Died
No Shame Theatre
No Shame Don't Mean No Pride
