Hi. I’m Safari Sam. And welcome to Safari Sam’s Wildlife Adventure.

Today’s lesson is about Deer.

Deer have a group mentality, and often travel in large numbers called herds.

LIGHTS UP (VERY DIM) on three DEER.

DEER # 1

Hey, Steve, check it out. There’s salt over here.

DEER # 2

Cool.

Deer # 3

(joining them) Hey guys, whatcha doing?

SAFARI SAM

But sometimes, it’s everyone for themselves.

LIGHTS UP FULL (VERY BRIGHT)

(Deers # 1 and # 2 start to run as # 3 continues to lick the road)

DEER # 1

Holy shit!

DEER # 2

Sweet lordy!

DEER # 3

Hey! Where are you guys going? (looks up and straight ahead. Is mesmerized by the lights. At the last second puts up his hooves. Expression of Horror on his face.)

(as DEER #3 puts up his arms to cover his face …
