[Wait for one minute]

Time lost.

How much time will you spend in your life waiting for computers to boot up,

Waiting for copiers to start?

Waiting for lights to change?

Waiting in line at the movies, at the grocery store?

Waiting for something to begin or someone to let you go?

Time lost.

If I go to Bodo’s every morning before work

And wait for ten minutes in line

And do that for 3 years,

That’s almost 5 days,

One work week waiting in line.

What would I rather be doing with a week?

Go to the Bahamas?

Play with my kids?

Read that book I’ve always meant to read?

What would you do if you could reclaim your wasted time?

Here’s the real question.

Who gives a fuck?

This great rushing river of life.

Who was it who said that I have to fill every moment, every hour?

Who said I wouldn’t want to spend a week just sitting still?

I get up in the [morning and occupy my whole day. Why do I feel that I’m wasting my life.]

Years ago in the world of farmers, there were chores to be done at the rising of the sun.

[Surely, the benefit of modern society is that we have time to waste.]
