Ballad of Little Bear

By Joshua James

Once upon a time

There was

A

Little Bear

Alone in the dark empty forest

Mama

Papa

Friends

Food

All gone

Lost

Lost

Lost

The Little Bear

Curled up

Into a little fuzzy ball

And began to cry

Loudly

Loudly

Loudly

This Old Rabbit

Jumped out of the brush

Said

"Listen Bear,

What the hell’s all this racket about?"

"I’m lost"

wailed the Little Bear

"I’m all alone,

And I’m oh so hungry"

"Jesus Christ"

Grouched the Rabbit

"If there’s something bothering ya,

Then DO something about it.

Don’t sit and whine like a baby!

You’re a fucking BEAR!

Start acting like one."

The Little Bear sniffled

Wiped the tears from his snout

Said

"Okay"

Then

Reached out and snapped the Old Rabbit’s neck

And

Started eating

"Thanks for the advice,"

Said the Little Bear

As

He licked his lips

Blackout
