(LIGHTS UP ON: a WOMAN waiting on a street corner.)

WOMAN
Taxi!!

(Her cell phone RINGS. She answers.)

WOMAN
Hello?

CALLER (v.o.)
Ms. Chambers, don’t hang up, we’ve traced the call and it’s coming from inside the house!

WOMAN
What?

CALLER (v.o.)
It’s coming from IN-SIDE the HOUSE!

WOMAN
(Beat.) I’m not in a house.

CALLER (v.o.)
…You’re not?

WOMAN
No, I’m waiting for the bus.

CALLER (v.o.)
You’re not in a house?

WOMAN
No, I’m at the bus stop.

CALLER (v.o.)
This isn’t 270-5728?

WOMAN
Yes, that’s my number.

CALLER (v.o.)
And this is Alicia Chambers?

WOMAN
No, my name is Monica.

CALLER (v.o.)
(Beat.) Aw, crap. (Beat.) I wrote it down wrong. Shit.

(Pause.)

WOMAN
Hello?

CALLER (v.o.)
You know what? Never mind. Wrong number.

WOMAN
…Hello?

(No response. She looks very disturbed by this. She hangs up.)

WOMAN
Taxi!!
