LIGHTS SLLOWLY UP on two fellas laying (lying?) on their backs, stargazing.


Porridge:  What a beautiful night.  Look at all the stars.


George:  Yeah.  (long pause) Do you believe in God?


Porridge:  I don't believe in an omniscient, omnipresent, omnipotent deity 

per se, but I do sometimes experience a profound sense of the numinous, a 

feeling that something greater than me exists.  Why do you ask?


George:  It was the GHB talking.


Porridge:  Good.  Good.
