No Shame Theatre starts Friday, Sept. 7th

I'm sending this to off-campus students, because I understand that many of them are still here in Great Falls.

No Shame is a place our campus and community can gather to share original creative ideas. It is our artistic haven for free expression. It is a place where we can take creative risks with each other. We can be willing to fall flat on our faces, and occasionally see flashes of brilliance emerge. It is exciting and fun. It is ours. It is every Friday night, we hope to see you there!

No Shame is $5 for everyone to attend and/or participate. There is a $35 UGF Student/Faculty/Staff Season Pass available. All money is split evenly thee ways... 1. Theater Improvement Fund 2. Student Creative Scholarships 3. Great Falls New Works development fund.

There are only 3 rules for No Shame...

1. It Must be Original
2. It must be 5 minutes or Under
3. It Can't Break Anything (Including the Law)

Short plays, Poetry, Fiction, Monologues, Music, Dance, Comedy... If it is original, and you can present it on stage, it is fair game for No Shame.

Writers, you don't have to read... hand scripts to actors that show up and ask them to read for you!

Signups start at 10:15pm every Friday and are limited to the first 15 acts. Show starts at 11pm and goes until done. (Usually 12:15-12:30am)

We had our first No Shame in Great Falls last night! Over 40 people showed and a full performance docket!

No Shame CANCELLED due to inclement weather

For those of you who are unable to go home for Thanksgiving weekend, (or if you want to escape your relatives for an evening) No Shame Theater is on this Friday night! (UGF Theater Building)

Sign-ups start at 10:15pm, show starts at 11pm!

Admission is $5, as always, but if you bring a winter coat, comforter or warm sweater to donate to the needy, admission is FREE!

To wrap up our first semester of No Shame Theater, we are having an early night (7:30pm) featuring the very best pieces, performers and performances from the first semester! If you are not a night owl, this is your chance to experience the fun and rawkus energy of No Shame!

Poetry, plays, music, dance... anything that can take place on stage in 5 minute chunks will be on tap for the evening!

Tickets are only $5. The show takes place at the University of Great Falls Theater, and is recommended for Mature Audiences and not appropriate for children.
