First No Shame of the New Year
Happy New Year, People! Man, did 2004 sneak up on me, or what? Here it is Day 2 of the New Year and already I'm behind in getting my announcements out. So yes, it's sort of last minute, but what better way to clear up yesterday's hangover than to come out tonight and see a bunch of other hung over individuals perform original, never before seen and more than likely never seen again pieces of theatre for your amusement? Maybe the only thing better would be your performing. How's about that? No Shame Theatre is an open performance forum where anything goes, including theater, dance, music, or video (or hybrids thereof). Bring a type-written, original script for the folks in the light booth, keep your technical, demands small and your piece under five minutes in length. That's all it takes to participate. WHEN and WHERE: Friday, January 02, 2004 11:00 p.m. (script submission begins at 10:30) The Hideout, 617 Congress $2 www.noshame.org or contact gnaptheater@hotmail.com for further info PS: Stay tuned this year for other GNAP! Theater Projects events coming up in 2004 besides No Shame. For instance, there will be a piece this year involving as many socks and stockings as I can get my hands on. So it you have some old, mismatched, holey, or loner socks in your drawers, hold onto them and send me an email. I'll gladly take them from you.
