No Shame Theatre Has it been a month already? Is No Shame Theatre happening again at ye olde Hideout tonight, with your effervescent master of ceremonies, Shannon McCormick? Will Francine ever get to take those piano lessons her father promised her? Ach, so many questions! Luckily, the answer to all three is: yes ...

NO SHAME THEATRE This monthly Open Mic of wild rumpus and out-of-the-box theatrics is presided over, you may recall, by the uncanny Shannon McCormick. Even if you're only half as canny yourself, you're still invited to take the stage and unleash your inner performance artist to intrigue and astonish the attending throng; or simply be part of that attending throng and prepare for a night of performances you're not likely to see again this side of Dr. Lao's circus. Friday, Sept. 13, 11pm (sign-up at 10:30). The Hideout, 617 Congress. $2. shannonmccormick@hotmail.com.
